Demaris Jones Obituary

DEMARIS JONES, age 46, passed away August 4, 2005. She was born February 5, 1959, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Woody and Polly Wahlquist. Demaris was a long time member of Second Baptist Church, and served on the Flower Committee and taught in the pre-school nursery.
   Preceded in death by her parents, Demaris is survived by her husband, Jeff Jones; daughter, Deanna Jones of Little Rock; her sisters, Diane Wahlquist and her husband Antonio Mesa of Little Rock, Debra Frye and her husband Stuart of Little Rock; her father-in-law, Jimmy Jones; brother-in-law, Jim Jones and his wife Peggy; and nephews, Turner and Brooks Jones. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and special friends from work and church.
   Funeral services will be held Monday, August 8, 2005, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock, (501) 661-9111, with Dr. Ray Higgins officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 7, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Danny Wahlquist, Sr. Obituary

Danny Wahlquist, 71, of Memphis, died July 22, 2005.  He was a retired fireman for the city of Memphis and a musician.  Visitation will be Sunday 3-6 p.m. and the service will be Monday, 2 p.m. at Family Funeral Care.  He is survived by his wife, Sue Wahlquist; 3 daughters; Connie Wahlquist of Dresden, TN, Debbie and Marian Jordan, both of Memphis, TN; 3 sons; Danny Wahlquist, Jr. of Richmond, VA, Donnie Wahlquist of Houston, TX, Ronny Wahlquist of Anna, TX; 1 sister; Becky DeGraffenreid of Oklahoma City, OK; 2 brothers; Sammy Wahlquist of Memphis and Paul Wahlquist, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK; 19 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  Memorials to be sent to Donor's choice.
